Awareness Toolkit for Child Online Protection
Overview
As part of efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness among school students, the National Cybersecurity Center is launching a Child online protection awareness toolkit in its first edition in Arabic Language that includes a variety of interactive educational resources aimed at increasing awareness of digital safety and cybersecurity principles to promote proper cyber practices and enhance a safe learning environment, supporting national efforts to protect children in cyberspace.
Objectives
- Raising awareness of cybersecurity concepts and the importance of digital safety and citizenship among students at the national level by providing a diverse range of educational resources.
- Encouraging interactive and innovative learning through “gamified learning” to motivate students to make appropriate decisions when facing potential online risks.
- Contributing to supporting the educational process in general by equipping teachers with the necessary tools and resources to enhance students’ education on cybersecurity.
- Encouraging parents to engage in their children’s online activities while implementing effective parental controls.
