Enhancing the culture of cyber security among school students

Overview

The National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC) has launched several initiatives under a national program aimed at promoting cybersecurity culture among students in Bahrain. These initiatives are designed to educate students on the importance of cybersecurity and equip them with the necessary skills to protect themselves and their digital assets against cyber threats. The education is delivered through devised curriculums and gamification, making learning interactive, engaging, and fun. These programs also aim to encourage the identification of talent and foster an interest in cybersecurity among kids and youth, planting the seeds for future cybersecurity professionals. By promoting cybersecurity culture among students and nurturing their interest in the field, the NCSC aims to inspire a new generation of cybersecurity experts who will be well-prepared to tackle cyber threats and elevate Bahrain's national cadres in this strategically important field. This will also create more opportunities for students to consider cybersecurity as a career path, leading to a more secure digital future for Bahrain.
