Awareness Toolkit for Child Online Protection

Overview

As part of efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness among school students, the National Cybersecurity Center is launching a Child online protection awareness toolkit in its first edition in Arabic Language that includes a variety of interactive educational resources aimed at increasing awareness of digital safety and cybersecurity principles to promote proper cyber practices and enhance a safe learning environment, supporting national efforts to protect children in cyberspace.

Objectives

Raising awareness of cybersecurity concepts and the importance of digital safety and citizenship among students at the national level by providing a diverse range of educational resources.
Encouraging interactive and innovative learning through “gamified learning” to motivate students to make appropriate decisions when facing potential online risks.
Contributing to supporting the educational process in general by equipping teachers with the necessary tools and resources to enhance students’ education on cybersecurity.
Encouraging parents to engage in their children’s online activities while implementing effective parental controls.
