The NCSC Collaborates With the Ministry of Youth Affairs
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, delivered an awareness session for ministry employees at Al Naim Youth Center.
Ms. Aysha Ahmed Haji, Director of Outreach and Awareness Directorate, introduced the concept of cybersecurity, highlighting its ecosystem, importance, and associated risks. She also presented examples of cybersecurity breaches that youth and sports centers might face, along with strategies for prevention.
Ms. Sara Yousif AlbinAli, training specialist at the NCSC, led a segment aimed at raising awareness about cybersecurity as the first line of defense. Through a series of interactive exercises, participants learned how to identify different kinds of cyberattacks, such as phishing and fraud. She further emphasized the critical role of youth center staff in minimizing cybersecurity risks by following institutional security protocols and applying safe cybersecurity practices in their daily work environment.
