Cybersecurity: An Awareness Session for the Educational Sector
As part of the continued collaboration between the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) and the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Center’s Outreach and Awareness Directorate conducted an awareness session titled "Cybersecurity in the Workplace." The session was attended by 120 staff members from various departments within the MOE.
The lecture focused on enabling employees to play an active role in safeguarding their organization against cyber threats, while clarifying their responsibilities and obligations within the workplace through compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It emphasized the significance of cybersecurity and common cyber risks, especially those targeting the government and education sectors. Participants were presented with real-world cyberattack cases to better understand how to respond to risks and effectively apply best practices.
