The NCSC and the MTT Organize a Training Workshop to Discuss Cybersecurity Standards for the Aviation Sector
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the SANS Institute, organized a workshop to discuss cybersecurity standards in the transportation sector, focusing on aviation. The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT) and aviation companies.
The training workshop focused on key areas, including cybersecurity standards for protecting aviation networks and systems, implementation mechanisms, and recommendation procedures. It also addressed major cybersecurity risks in the aviation sector and how to manage them.
The workshop is part of a series organized by the NCSC to strengthen protection for vital sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It aims to train participants on cybersecurity standards to safeguard the systems and infrastructure of aviation institutions and companies. The workshop focuses on setting effective security standards aligned with technological developments and international best practices to address cyber threats and support the Kingdom’s strategic objectives.
