The NCSC Participates in the 36th Annual FIRST Conference in Japan
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) represented the Kingdom of Bahrain at the 36th Annual Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) Conference in Fukuoka, Japan, from 14 to 19 June. The Kingdom’s delegation was led by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO for Cybersecurity Operations at the NCSC.
The FIRST Conference brought together a wide range of cybersecurity experts and professionals from 99 countries. The event featured panel discussions, workshops, and interactive training sessions to exchange knowledge, explore emerging trends, and address the latest cybersecurity threats. Participants also shared best practices and discussed opportunities for international collaboration to tackle common cyber challenges. A key topic of focus was the growing risks associated with artificial intelligence in the cybersecurity landscape.
The NCSC’s participation in this conference reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of cybersecurity.
