The NCSC Delivers a Workshop in Collaboration with the General Sports Authority
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the General Sports Authority (GSA), conducted an awareness workshop titled “Cybersecurity in the Workplace.” The workshop aimed to raise staff awareness and equip them with the skills to protect the work environment, as employees are the first line of defense against cyberattacks.
The workshop covered growing cyber risks, including ransomware attacks, and included practical exercises on detecting phishing and online fraud targeting organizations via email, social engineering, and other methods. These activities also familiarized participants with cybercrime laws, the Civil Service Law, and institutional cybersecurity policies, while emphasizing Bahrain’s efforts to protect vital organizations from cyberattacks.
