The NCSC Concludes Its Awareness Course for the National Audit Office Employees
The National Cyber Security Center’s (NCSC) Outreach and Awareness Directorate conducted an awareness course for employees of the National Audit Office (NAO) as part of its efforts to enhance the readiness of national entities and raise cybersecurity awareness. The course was held consecutively from October 2023 to February 2024 and was attended by more than 133 employees. It focused on the importance of cybersecurity and its institutional applications, aiming to foster coordinated integration among administrative, technical, and executive staff in safeguarding the organization’s cybersecurity.
The course covered several key topics, including essential cybersecurity concepts and threats, common cyberattacks and protection methods, safe cybersecurity practices in the workplace, national and international cybersecurity efforts, and the role of employees in safeguarding their organization’s cybersecurity. It also included a number of practical exercises.
The NCSC continues to launch educational initiatives for the public sector and vital sectors, including an annual collaboration plan to implement awareness activities with various entities. These efforts aim to build a strong cybersecurity culture, enable national entities’ employees to enhance protection and security, and strengthen confidence in the systems and services provided.
