The National Cyber Security Center Participates in the Second Symposium of the National Audit Office “Audit and Partnership”

The National Cyber Security Center participated in the second symposium of the National Audit Office (NAO), entitled 'Audit and Partnership', with a working paper on the importance of cybersecurity, for two days, presented by Ms. Aysha bin Haji, Director of Outreach and Awareness Directorate at the National Cyber Security Center.

The first day of the symposium, targeted the executive level of senior management and top executives in the entities. The symposium dealt with a working paper on 'The Global Landscape of Security Risks and How to Apply Best Practices in the Field of Cybersecurity at an Institutional Level'.

The symposium's second day focused on accounting and auditing technicians.The discussion covered cyber threats and the most important ways to implement cyber security, as well as measuring the potential financial impact of cyber-attacks in comparison to the institution's level of cyber risks and managing them through security controls based on global standards, clear action plans based on risk size, and measuring the organization's capacity to protect and recover from cyber-attacks.

The National Cyber Security Center presented this Symposium as part of its community cooperation with government agencies and public and private sector organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
