The NCSC Participates in Fifth GCC Cybersecurity Exercise
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) took part in the fifth GCC Cybersecurity Exercise, organized by the GCC Ministerial Committee for Cybersecurity and hosted by Kuwait’s National Cybersecurity Center. The exercise brought together cybersecurity authorities from GCC member states, with the participation of the GCC Secretariat General.
The exercise aimed to enhance the readiness of security operations centers, incident response teams, network and infrastructure engineers, and crisis management officials. It focused on strengthening coordination, sharing expertise, and testing crisis management and business continuity plans through realistic simulation scenarios.
The Center’s participation reflects its commitment to advancing Bahrain’s cybersecurity posture and supporting regional cooperation to address evolving cyber threats. Representatives engaged in a scenario simulating a third-party breach to assess technical teams’ ability to detect, contain, and respond to supply chain attacks effectively.
