The NCSC Participates in an Awareness Exhibition in Collaboration with the MOE

The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), participated in an awareness exhibition as part of the Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities. Aimed at building a digitally aware generation, the four-day event targeted students from public schools across various education levels.

The initiative reflects the NCSC's ongoing commitment to promote cybersecurity awareness among younger generations through an innovative educational approach based on gamification. The exhibition featured four interactive stations that combined theoretical knowledge with practical application, designed to engage students and encourage critical thinking.

The exhibition witnessed strong participation from students who engaged in a range of educational experiences tailored to their age groups. Elementary school students were introduced to the basics of cybersecurity and the importance of protecting personal information through educational stories, interactive activities, and games such as Share with Caution and The Cyber Safety Ladder. Middle school students participated in interactive stations focused on topics such as digital footprints, digital citizenship, and the safe use of technology. These were delivered through self-assessment exercises and dialogue-based activities designed to encourage critical thinking. High school students explored more advanced topics, including modern cyber threats, account and password security, and digital privacy. They also participated in competitions such as Cyber Adventure and hands-on challenges that simulated real-life scenarios in online environments.

The exhibition also featured informational booths, awareness materials, and printed educational games specifically designed to reinforce safe digital behaviors among students. These resources aimed to enhance students’ ability to protect their data and act consciously and responsibly in the digital space.

The NCSC emphasized that participating in this exhibition aligns with its vision of building a secure and sustainable digital society, and instilling cybersecurity concepts in younger generations, who are considered the first line of defense against emerging digital threats. The NCSC also noted that its ongoing collaboration with the MOE reflects both parties’ commitment to integrating cybersecurity awareness into the educational system through modern approaches that are age-appropriate and designed to achieve meaningful impact.
