The NCSC Organizes Awareness Lectures for Senior Citizens
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) organized a series of awareness lectures as part of its ongoing efforts to promote cybersecurity awareness among senior citizens. The lectures were held at the Muharraq Elderly Day Care and Al-Hekma Retired Society.
The lectures covered the basics of cybersecurity, explaining the techniques used by scammers to deceive victims, and presenting real examples of phishing and online fraud messages. The sessions also emphasized practical ways to protect devices by using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication.
These lectures coincided with Cybersecurity Awareness Month, reaffirming the NCSC’s commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness across all segments of society and empowering senior citizens to use the internet and modern technologies safely and confidently.
