The NCSC Participates in ENISA’s 11th Trust Services and eID Forum
Mr. Ali Mohammed AlZayani, Director of Cyber Defense at the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), and Mr. Fahad Mohammed Bukhammas, Head of Digital Trust Services at the NCSC, participated in the 11th Trust Services and eID Forum, held from September 24 to 25, 2025, in the city of Split, Republic of Croatia.
The event was organized by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) in collaboration with the European Commission. It brought together a diverse group of participants, including representatives from regulatory authorities, trust service providers, and international experts in the fields of digital identity and cybersecurity.
The forum is recognized as a leading platform for discussing the latest developments related to the eIDAS 2 framework, including the new legislative and regulatory framework for trust services and digital identity. It also provided an opportunity to review best technical and operational practices for the adoption of digital certificates and the implementation of the European Digital Identity Wallet.
The forum also featured panel discussions on the alignment of European legislation such as NIS2 and CRA. Additionally, it presented practical use cases of modern technologies in critical sectors like banking, telecommunications, and insurance.
The NCSC’s participation in this significant international event reflects its commitment to enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a trusted service provider. It also supports the Kingdom’s initiatives to advance its digital infrastructure to meet the highest global standards. This contributes to reinforcing Bahrain’s leading role in the fields of cybersecurity and sustainable digital transformation.
