The NCSC Conducts an Awareness Session in Collaboration with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), organized an awareness lecture titled "Cybersecurity in the Workplace." This initiative is part of the NCSC’s ongoing efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness among specialists in national institutions.
The session was attended by members of the Council, as well as staff from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the General Sports Authority. It addressed fundamental cybersecurity concepts and key preventive practices for protecting information in the workplace. The session focused on raising employees’ awareness of cybersecurity risks and digital threats, along with the most important methods and mechanisms for prevention and response. Delivered in a practical and interactive manner, the lecture enhanced participants’ understanding and engagement.
Additionally, the lecture featured examples of cyber threats, especially those targeting youth and sports sectors globally. It explored lessons learned from these incidents, in light of the growing reliance on digital platforms for managing activities and data. This reliance brings challenges that threaten digital infrastructure and sensitive information.
To conclude, the SCYS honored the speakers from the Outreach and Awareness Directorate at the NCSC, in recognition of their efforts in raising awareness and advancing digital protection principles within the youth and sports sectors.
