His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed AlKhalifa, CEO of the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), praised the launch of the Kingdom’s first satellite, Al Munther, recognizing it as a national achievement. The CEO stated that the satellite was designed and developed by Bahraini nationals, showcasing the remarkable capabilities and potential of Bahraini talents in this field. H.E. Sheikh Salman also highlighted that this milestone further reinforces Bahrain’s position in the fields of innovation and technology.

H.E. Sheikh Salman emphasized that this achievement was made possible through the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa AlKhalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa AlKhalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, as well as the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad AlKhalifa, National Security Advisor, Commander of Bahrain's Royal Guard and Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, all of which have strengthened Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for advanced technology and space science.

H.E. Sheikh Salman concluded by extending his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa AlKhalifa and all relevant parties who contributed to the success of this significant national achievement. The CEO further remarked that this step is the beginning of further developments in the fields of technology and space science, further strengthening the Kingdom’s position in these fields.
