The CEO of the NCSC Participates in the World Governments Summit 2025
His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed AlKhalifa, CEO of the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain prioritizes cybersecurity as a key component of national strategies, through focusing on safeguarding Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and ensuring the implementation of information security best practices across the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Kingdom of Bahrain also places significant emphasis on international collaboration, building cybersecurity-related companies, exchanging knowledge, and developing policies, and updating laws and regulations to stay aligned with technological advancements to effectively address cyber threats.
H.E. Sheikh Salman participated in the World Governments Summit 2025, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event was attended by heads of state, governments, officials, decision makers and specialists from various countries.
H.E. Sheikh Salman shared Bahrain’s experience in cybersecurity, highlighting the Kingdom's commitment to achieving its goals and its adoption of modern and advanced technologies, which help anticipate challenges in the digital age.
H.E. Sheikh Salman participated in a panel titled “How Can Governments Strengthen Digital Resilience?” where he outlined that the Kingdom has established clear strategies to ensure digital resilience, aiming to balance regulation and innovation. This approach is designed to strengthen the digital economy through resilient technological infrastructure. One key strategy involves proactive measures and responses to potential incidents.
H.E. Sheikh Salman stressed the importance of governments prioritizing digital resilience to ensure economic stability, seamless digital services, and public trust.
H.E. Sheikh Salman also praised the crucial role Dubai played in the World Governments Summit, which contributed to enhancing cybersecurity on a global scale through discussing challenges and opportunities in protecting infrastructure, fostering constructive dialogue and international cooperation.
