The NCSC Concludes the Cybersecurity Awareness Plan for Ministry of Interior Entities
As part of the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) plan, the center is committed to advancing the Kingdom’s cybersecurity readiness and resilience. Together with the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the NCSC executed an awareness plan which took place at the MoI for approximately 100 members of the Ports Security General Directorate from June to November 2024.
The program included workshops focused on enhancing cybersecurity awareness, sharing best practices to mitigate cybersecurity risks, and emphasizing the role of employees in safeguarding company data. Additionally, specialized sessions were conducted for IT professionals, addressing topics such as cyberattacks, security vulnerabilities, and best practices for incident response.
Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Hitaimi, Director General of the General Directorate of Ports Security, praised the NCSC for its efforts in planning and conducting the cybersecurity awareness program.
